This daily intake should be divided up and given morning and evening. Always ensure unlimited access to fresh water. If your guinea pig is regularly not eating everything, you should reduce the daily amount. You can vary the diet with leaves, fresh fruit, vegetables and something to chew. Any changes to the daily intake provided should be made taking account of body weight, condition and the health of the specific animal.
