WHAT IS B.A.R.F.?

The abbreviation B.A.R.F. most often stands for “Bones and Raw Food”. The inspiration behind B.A.R.F. was to offer nutrition that’s as close as possible to the natural diet of carnivorous animals living in the wild based on the fact the predecessor of today's dog is the wolf, so it has the same requirements and a similar digestive system.

The wolf's diet consists of raw meat, offal and bones from wild game, enriched with forest fruits, berries, fruit, herbs, roots and grass.

Recommended feeding guide
Add 1/3 of the weight of your dog’s daily ration of meat. For example, add 100 g of kibble to 300 g of meat. For an adult dog, we recommend a quantity of meat equivalent to 1 - 1.5 % of the animal's body weight per day. For larger dogs, we recommend dividing the daily ration into two servings (morning and evening). Adjust the daily food ration to the condition of your dog and its level of activity. Ensure unrestricted access to fresh water.
